Diet No No’s

We’re not about telling you foods are "off limits."

If you want it, eat it.  Just don’t overeat it.  And surely don’t overeat it on a daily basis.

And, sure, some foods are much worse than others…

…but what we encourage is making the process of losing weight or maintaining your weight as simple as possible.

That means changing your environment.

If you’re trying to quit smoking, for example, it wouldn’t make much sense to sit in the smoking room at an airport to see how strong your willpower is.  Or if you’re a recovering alcoholic, hanging out with friends at a bar isn’t smart either.

So how is losing weight any different?

Change your environment to improve your fat loss results.

  1. Keep fresh fruit and veggies prepped in your refrigerator.  When they’re there, you’ll eat them.  We promise you.
  2. Don’t buy foods that don’t support your goals.  If you normally sit down with a bag of chips or a bowl of ice cream at night, don’t bring them into your house.  Very common sense, but not common to hear people doing this.
  3. Keep easy to grab foods hidden – having a bowl of nuts sitting on an endtable screams to be eaten.  Sure, nuts are healthy, but a handful everytime you walk by isn’t.  Keep these in a cabinet — out of site, out of mind.

There are 3 Common Sense approaches to helping give you that flat belly and achieving the body and health you’ve wanted.

    Hi,

Read your blog every day. Lots of useful information.

My question here is why is it not good to eat a handful of nuts over the day?
