Are You Comfortable?

That’s a weird question — "are you comfortable?"

But it’s an important question.

Because when your goal is to lose fat (or maintain your weight), get fit and healthy, there needs to be a little discomfort.

By discomfort I mean … making the occasional tougher choices.

  • Do I REALLY need another drink with my friends?
  • Is the appetizer, dinner, AND dessert a wise idea?
  • Is sleeping in AGAIN more important than training daily to reach my goals?
  • Is walking OK or should I push myself and up the intensity?

The list can go on.  But we see it and hear it day in and day out.  Whether it’s the women in our Mohr Results Boot Camp to the Cincinnati Bengals players.  Those who are putting in the extra effort — pushing for the extra push up after the whistle in boot camp — resisting the urge to eat dessert again — or taking the time to do a little extra work — THOSE are the ones who will get the results they’re after.

The others will continue to pass off the responsibility.

"It’s not my fault."

"The coach doesn’t like me."

"My genetics are bad."

So get our of your comfort zone.  And take the extra steps.  Your confidence, your health, and your body will appreciate it.

I am 46 year old male who has been struggling with my weight for all my life! My brothers use to tease me, even teachers in school, not to mention the school kids. Anyway I am a very positive person & have managed to raise a family. I have a great wife, kids & grand kids who love me no matter how big & fat I am. Problem I don’t! I have been up & down in weight all my life & It always come back & then some! I feel so much better with myself & my body when I am at the weight I feel I should be at. Probelm is getting back there & staying there. Any advise, a plan? At this time I want to be one of those people who do “true testamonials” saying “I was that big & now I lost all this weight & kept it off!” All I want is to get the weight off & keep it off! To be healthy, have my Dr. tell me that I am no longer a dieabetic! Can you help me?

Hi Christopher – we don’t offer consulting at this time. Check out PrecisionNutrition.com — my good friend runs the company and is surely a trusted resource. They have a long term weight loss program that would be perfect!
