5 Simple Tricks to Lose Weight without Dieting

It should come as no surprise to hear that the #1 question we get is "how do I lose weight?"

That's from women in Mohr Results Adventure Boot Camp, busy moms who struggle to find balance and reach out to us, and anyone else for that matter!!

We asked the question yesterday about the importance of using a scale and got a lot of great ideas and comments.  If you haven't read that post, click here to see if weighing yourself helps with weight loss.

Sticking with the theme of weight loss, let's look at 5 SIMPLE Weight Loss Strategies.

  1. Write short and long term goals — figure out a goal weight and write it, daily.  I weigh xxxx lbs on (specific date).  A goal is a dream with a deadline.  And then write short term goals that will help you achieve that long term one.
  2. Keep a journal.  This alone can make or break your success.  Write down your daily food intake.  It increases awareness.
  3. Start every meal with a fruit and/or veggie(s) — helps fill you up, not out.
  4. Move more — 90% of people in the National Weight Control Registry, a registry of women and men who have lost and maintained their weight loss for at least 5.5 years, exercise an average of 1 hour/day.
  5. Use small plates and bowls — it decreases portions and therefore calories, but still fills you up.  Enough said.

There you have it — head into the weekend with these 5 super simple weight loss strategies to help achieve every single one of your physical goals!

Hey Guys, good tips for weight loss.  I find that increasing my water intake, especially right before eating my meal helps to feel full and satiated. Even a cup of herbal tea before dinner does the trick and helps me to take a few minutes to unwind and settle down so I do not charge into my meal like I have not seen food in a week. LOL.
