The important thing to keep in mind in relation to losing weight is always that just one primary principle applies it's essential to use more energy compared with what you take on board .

Too much D would effect calcium metabolism -- this could ultimately cause kidney stones or bone pain if you're looking for something you could actually "feel" but the doses you mentioned are safe. I assume you mean 400 IU's vs. mgs. Get your blood tested to truly find out your levels.

If too much vitamin D is possible, what side effects can be attributed to excess Vit. D? I'm taking a multi-vitamin daily with 400 mgs., a calcium/magnesium/vitamin D combo and an additional D supplement for another 1000 mgs. Too much?

Thanks, Chris and Ella, for addressing this issue, as I have wondered the same thing. I was diagnosed with osteopenea a few years ago and am very aware of my Vitamin D intake and have my levels tested every 6 months and a bone density scan done annually. Great advice, and I appear to be on the right track.

It may actually the computer connection -- it should play through fine. Apologize for that inconvenience, but it is something outside of our control.

I am wondering why when a video is on utube, it pauses a lot. I was trying to watch your video and I could only hear about 5 - 10 words, then pause, then a few more words and pause, all the way through the video. when it comes back on it's kind of broken up and it's hard to understand. It's frustrating to try and watch it.
