And now it’s time to apologize — our blog got hacked into yesterday and was down for awhile. That affected our ability for our post to show on the screen, so we missed a day. Arrrrrgggg…darn hackers!
It’s all fixed now!
So as I’m writing this, I’m sipping on my favorite "Dairy Queen Blizzard" smoothie …and we’ve received some incredible feedback on this video "Dairy Queen Blizzard Makeover" … within a short time the video has 1300 views on youtube and it’s growing steadily.
So for those who missed it, we wanted to post again…but also ask you, what are YOUR favorite smoothie recipes?
Here is our favorite …

Chris and Kara….Thanks for the smoothie recipe, I’ll be sure to try it. One of my favorites is a chocolate peanut butter smoothie: 8 oz lite chocolate soy milk, 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter. Some people may also like to add a banana, sometimes I do and sometimes I leave it out. Either way it makes for a delicious smoothie that is packed with protein, low in calories and sugar and satisfies my sweet craving!!

This is a favorite of mine:
1. 1 scoop natural chocolate protein powder
2. 1 heaping tablespoon of natural peanut butter
3. 1 banana
4. cinnamon to taste
5. a few coffee beans
6. a dash of cayenne pepper – more or less depending on how much of a kick you can handle!
7. sometimes I’ll add Wyman’s wild frozen blueberries – or just ice depending on your flavor preference.
8. For liquid, I love almond milk, or regular milk. You can use water but it’s not quite as good.
Blend and enjoy!

I would love for you to do a post about protein powder. It seems to be a staple in your household and I would like to know the benefits, how much to use, any precautions with using too much, etc.
Thanks!
