31, 2007 - Planning New Years Resolutions
It's unbelievable that 2008 is just around the corner...another
year come and gone. What did you do to make 2007 the best year
possible? Did you achieve all of your goals? Keep your resolutions
that you set at the end of 2006? If you did or did not, we'll discuss
some strategies to make 2008 EVEN better than before.
First, thank you for all your support this past year. We have
been very happy with our growth--and have fantastic plans to continue
on the same path, with a load of fantastic projects and joint
collaborations for 2008!
In 2007 we launched our first DVD, Grocery
Shopping Made Easy, just finalized a second, with a much different
audience in mind, called Fuel
Like a Champion: A Young Athletes Guide on What to Eat (if you coach, are a parent, or are a young
athlete, this will be your best tool to launch your success next
year), and have at least 3 more planned in 2008. We are committed
to helping you reach your health and wellness goals. We are working
with a group of physician's to create some innovative weight
loss programming and also have some unique approaches to allow
anyone to have access to our successful weight loss approach, even
when not in Louisville (but if you are, you cannot miss our New
Year-New YOU Seminar next Saturday). With just a few spots remaining,
and a segment on the Terry Meiners Radio show this coming Wednesday,
at 4 PM, we will absolutely sell out--don't miss this chance!
In
the meantime, since a lot of our programs won't be available
until the end of 2008, we will be offering free monthly teleseminars
to our subscribers only on a variety of topics. Stay tuned.
And
of course we also have to make time for our training and healthy
lifestyle--it's a balancing act, but writing very specific goals
and plans for each day, helps us move forward personally and
professionally.
Try these 3 tips for making 2008 the absolute best
year to date:
- Write out short and long term goals--very specifically.
Remember, a goal is a dream with a deadline. "I want
to lose weight in 2008" is useless, but "I weigh
xx pounds on March 2 at 12 PM EST" is not. See the difference?
Regardless of your goals, write them like they are currently
happening with a specific deadline New
Year - New YOU Seminar mind.
- Make time for YOU--life will never get less busy. Usually,
it's just the opposite. Don't wait for the "perfect" time
to start working towards your goals. The time is right
now.
- Plan, plan, and plan some more--when you are driving
to a unknown location, you need to map out directions.
Life is no different. Many of the goals you're working
towards are unknown to you and, therefore, you need an
exact plan to get you there. Do you want to lose fat?
How do you plan to achieve that? Do you want to make xxx dollars
this year? How will that happen--just hoping doesn't
work. Make a plan, and continue to work towards it.
Here's to making 2008 the absolute best year to date! Happy New Year!
