January
2, 2007 - Happy New Year!
The holiday “season” has now come to an end – a
time where over 50 million people will resolve to lose weight, while
countless others have made resolutions to exercise daily, stop drinking
soda, eat more fruits and vegetables, and countless other resolutions.
Make this year different and make sure each resolution you made becomes
a positive habit vs. something that is quickly forgotten.
There are a lot of exciting happenings at Mohr Results, Inc this year. First,
Dr. Kara Gallagher has officially joined the team in full force. She was previously
working with us as a consultant, while still a professor at the University
of Louisville. Now she is here full time, heading up the RESULTS weight loss
program, along with working on some very exciting new projects that you’ll
learn about over the next few months. If you're a trainer or other health care
practitioner, stay tuned--you will not want to miss out on what we've been
working on.
Second, I just wrapped up another cool project with dietitian and
strength coach, Jayson Hunter, RD, CSCS, called Meal
Plans 101. This is some very cool software we have been working
for a long time and now it's available to YOU! If you are a trainer,
this software can help elevate your success rate -- remember, nutrition
is more than half the battle, and this is just what you need. Check
out the site, sign up for the free reports, and learn more about
what we have put together for you at an amazingly low price. I will
be sitting down with Jayson shortly to talk more about this project.
Third, we will also be putting out a bi-weekly newsletter. When
things get hectic, it’s easy to put this on the backburner,
but not anymore. Stay tuned for bi-weekly updates, along with archived
newsletters. Starting with this newsletter here, every newsletter
will be archived on the website so you have even more access to sound
nutrition and fitness information, interviews with leaders in the
field, and much, much more.
Finally, we have updated the articles section on the site and have
some very cool interviews planned. I'll be sitting down with Lee
Labrada, famed IFBB bodybuilder and owner of a successful sports
nutrition company very shortly, along with Dave “Scooter” Honig,
who is known for getting Hollywood’s hottest celebrities into
tip top shape and most notably for helping chisel the physique of
LL Cool J, which you can
read about here and these two just scratch the surface of what's
to come. Feel free to print any of these and use them as resources
for yourself and/or clients.
What are YOU doing to make 2007 better? C’mon, it’s
already January 2nd meaning you should have a plan in place and already
be started working on it. Everyday should get you one step closer
to a goal, whether it’s a lofty goal of losing x number of
pounds, working towards finishing a major project at work, quitting
smoking, or whatever it may be. Ultimately, smaller steps will all
add up to reach a larger accomplishment overtime, but you do have
to be patient and not expect anything overnight.
Hopefully you have a plan in place to achieve your goals this year—remember,
if you fail to plan, plan to fail.
Here is to an insanely more successful 2007!
Best,
Chris
