You mention Omega 3 fats in the post here and I got a serious question about this, would you say its good enough to get your Omega 3 fats from canned food like for example canned tuna or should you stick to fresh fish?

Fresh fish is prohibitively expensive in many parts of the country (including where I live), so incorporating fresh fish in the daily diet not really an option for me.

(I tried posting this once, but the number I had to enter was wrong or something - so sorry about the double comment if you got 2)

I'm so glad I found this article which led me to your site for the first time. I soooo agree that food is the key to healing and have been on that path for some time now myself.
The general population needs to keep hearing this message from MD's since doctors are typically thought to focus on prescribing medication as a solution. Band Aid is right! We must eat our way to better health.
Please keep posting more articles like this one.

It is great to see exercise and fitness being touted as another option.

But what steps are needed to utilize these drugs and what is the realistic turnaround time for improvement?

I am all for this approach, but what would be a realistic plan for busy people? And is getting up once an hour really that helpful? If you aren't doing any movement now, it is a start, but what about lasting change through movement and diet?

Love the "simple solutions" to such vast problems, like eating more fish, fruits and veggies. The problem for me has been the ease of grabbing a bagel with jelly, rather than taking the time to sit down and enjoy a variety of GOOD food for breakfast. Thanks for the reminder!
