How Mohr Results Taught One Woman to Remove 63 lbs of Fat!

Michelle Kirchner had her entire life ahead of her.  She was young.  Successful.  Engaged to be married soon.  And was otherwise healthy.  There was just one thing that was getting in the way of her living her life like she wanted.  She was nearly 100 lbs overweight.

Stressed out.

Zero energy.

Lacking self esteem. 

Until August 4th, 2008.  This day she says completely changed her life.

“Before that, time basically stood still.  And now I refer to my life in two eras - before boot camp (pre BC) and after boot camp (post BC).  Before boot camp, I weighed 226.4 pounds, had zero energy, and no self confidence.  I lived in a world of excuses.  My physical health was at the bottom of my priority list. I had gained almost 100 pounds and when I looked in the mirror I no longer knew the person staring back at me.  

My mind became consumed with negative images and my body had one foot in the grave.  I was dying inside from depression and I was killing myself physically with fast food & late night meals.  “Pre BC” my idea of exercise was walking downstairs to do the laundry. I avoided social gatherings and pushed away family and friends in fear of what they would think about my weight gain.

And then . . . an amazing man proposed to me! Yes, I was going to walk down the aisle with all my family and friends' eyes on me!  I wanted to look like “me” on my wedding day. I had to take action. I tried the Nutri System diet, diet pills, you name it.  

 Then it hit me. I was only treating the symptoms not addressing the cause.  The cause to my depression was being overweight and being overweight made me more depressed.  I had to lose weight and maintain it to stop this cycle.  That's when I learned about the permanent weight loss coaches at Mohr Results & Mohr Results Boot Camp

I was of course skeptical at first - I felt like I had tried EVERYTHING, but what did I have to lose…except the weight?

I decided to sign up for my first camp and haven't looked back since!

6 Months later I have lost 63 pounds and feel incredible.  I have completed six of Louisville's women only fitness boot camps and have run in over nine races!

I am a new person.   I go to boot camp every morning for 1 hour, 5 days a week and followed the weight loss strategies the team at Mohr Results shares with us daily.

This is how I did it - these 6 steps are my “winning at losing” formula, that I learned working with the weight loss experts at Mohr Results, Inc . 

  1. Think ahead and prepare in advance - you'll never been hungry and desperate for food when you plan!
  2. It is not about denying myself “good food” -- it was about choices.  For example, have a glass of wine with dinner or a piece of pie for dessert.  Not both. 
  3. Exercise is more than just doing cardio!  You don't become a “fit chick” as we boot campers call ourselves, with just walking on a treadmill!  I continue to learn about strength training, agility drills, core body strength, and intervals. 
  4. Permanent weight loss takes an amazing support network - at Mohr Results Boot Camp, it's easy.  The coaches and other 50+ women become the great support system anyone can have.  Do you have your weight loss support network in place?
  5. Set and commit to goals - this will help push you past any road blocks to achieve whatever you want.
  6. Take action.  Every minute you don't take action is another minute away from achieving your goals.  Don't wait.  Start NOW!

While I continue to work towards my physical goals, I'm also currently training to run the mini-marathon - 13.1 miles, something I never thought I would do.
