The oil should also not have a fishy taste, be a high concentration of EPA/DHA, and ideally be from fish like sardines and anchovies, that are small (so naturally low in contaminants) and not overfished.</description>

&lt;span&gt;Hi All. When talking about fish oil or omega 3 benefits it is important to remember that there are limitation to get those benefits. For example, you need to take a minimum dosage at a certain frequency to get some of those returns.&lt;/span&gt;

&lt;span&gt;There is no established dosage of fish oil for any health disorder but I recommend to take at least 3.000 mg per day of fish oil (close to 900 mg of omega 3 fats, EPA plus DHA from your label), if you are at your ideal weight and in good health. More, &lt;span&gt;&#160;&lt;/span&gt;if you are overweight or with any health disorder.&lt;/span&gt;

&lt;span&gt;If you want to get the benefits of fish oil, you should also reduce the amounts of pro inflammatory omega 6 fats (mainly grains and grain oils) since they counteract the effects of the omega 3.&lt;/span&gt;
