Dr. Hector Lopez, MD, CSCS

Hector Lopez, MD, CSCSDr. Lopez is the co-founder of Physicians Pioneering Performance, LLC. Clinical interests include: physical medicine and rehabilitation, optimal aging, obesity, and sports/musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Lopez has had research experience in the molecular biology of cancer, lipoprotein and amino acid metabolism, and effects of manipulating macronutrient composition on athletic performance. Dr. Lopez received dual Bachelor's degrees in Molecular Biology and Nutritional Science, with a Master's degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and concentration in Exercise Physiology. The PPP group has an interest in developing a new paradigm of rehab medicine.'Integrative/Metabolic Physiatry' through strategic nutritional and metabolic intervention as another "tool" in the armamentarium to enhance performance outcomes in patients, healthy laypersons, and athletes alike. Research interests of PPP include: 1) Applying advances in sports nutrition and exercise science to enhance the functional capacity and human performance of the rehabilitation patient population, senior/aging population, athletes, and laypersons. Dr. Lopez has experience consulting on integrated training, nutrition and supplementation for clients at all levels of fitness (recreational and amateur to elite/professional athletes).

Dr. Greg Bradley-Popovich

Dr. Greg Bradley-PopovichDr. Greg Bradley-Popovich is an interdisciplinary clinician, speaker, and author in the health sciences. He possesses a diverse background that ranges from corporate fitness to NASA-funded orthopedic research. Having specialized in spinal fitness and conservative spine management for the past six years, Dr. Bradley-Popovich has treated hundreds of sedentary and athletic patients with back and neck pain and was recently featured on the cover of Rehab Management for his expertise in this area. Dr. Bradley-Popovich is the Nutrition Editor for Men’s Fitness Magazine and as a freelance writer, he has authored over 50 popular articles on rehabilitation, exercise, nutrition, and dietary supplements in magazines such as Men’s Health Muscle and Muscle and Fitness.  Additionally, he has published several scholarly articles in a variety of peer-reviewed science and professional journals. Dr. Bradley-Popovich is a contributing author to the landmark texts Sports Supplements and Kettlebells: Past, Present, Future and is co-creator of the strength-training system Weapons for Mass Construction™. He has received national awards from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, from which he was recognized with its highest honor for a graduating physical therapy scholar. Dr. Bradley-Popovich holds dual Masters degrees in Exercise Physiology and Human Nutrition from West Virginia University as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) with honors from Creighton University in Omaha.

Dr. Evan Osar

Dr. Evan OsarDr. Evan Osar is the president of O.S.A.R. Consulting Inc., specializing in chiropractic orthopedics, sports medicine, athletic training and functional rehabilitation. He is also the president of Fitness Education Seminars™, where he developed the Fast and Furious™ series of seminars. He has presented for several national organizations including Perform Better, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the International Youth Conditioning Association. As the co-founder of Performance Enhancement Sports Massage™ (PESM), he perfected the ProNB™ technique, a revolutionary soft tissue assessment and treatment technique designed to improve athletic performance.

Dr. Osar holds a faculty position at The Soma Institute – National School for Clinical Massage Therapy, where he teaches kinesiology and clinical integration. One of the founding board members of the International Youth and Conditioning Association, he authored a chapter on posture and co-authored a chapter on flexibility for Developmental Essentials, the official textbook of the International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA). Additionally, he has written 4 manuals on functional anatomy, rehabilitation and conditioning and is a regular contributor to on-line fitness resources such as PTontheNet.

Dr. Osar received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from the Palmer College of Chiropractic.  He earned a diploma in clinical massage therapy from The Soma Institute – National School for Clinical Massage Therapy and national certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has dedicated himself to learning through attending over 1000 hours of continuing education, including Muscle Activation Technique.

In addition to his work with the public, Dr. Osar is in demand throughout the country as a speaker to audiences of personal trainers and health care practitioners. He treats professional athletes of the National Football League and Major League Baseball and he is the official chiropractic physician for the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and Zephyr Dance Company.

Dr. Thomas M. Wnorowski, PhD, CNCC

Thomas M. Wnorowski, PhD, CNCCDr. Wnorowski is a clinical nutrition counselor, certified (CNCC) specializing in migraine prevention and management. His post-doctoral education at Purdue, Tufts, and Johns Hopkins includes the clinical management of obesity, diabetes education, cardiac rehabilitation, women’s and men’s health issues, and weight management. He is the founder of Nutricom, LLC, a provider of current research in nutrition, complementary care, and sports medicine. Dr. Wnorowski is on the advisory board of the Center for Mind/Body Medicine, in Washington, D.C., and is a published author in the field of general nutrition. He has a PhD in Clinical Nutrition Counseling and an MSc in Human Nutrition, both from Madison University, and a MS in educational psychology from Glassboro State College. Dr. Wnorowski is a member of the American Dietetic Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, the American Association of Integrative Medicine, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He practices privately in southern New Jersey and was the honored recipient of the 2006 Excellence in Practice Award from the American Dietetic Association.
